Core Principles in Effective Couples Therapy

There are many ways to do couples therapy, and several distinct models that have been used successfully. This presentation will look at the different models, what is effective about each, and how they are similar and different. The presenter will describe his own approach to couples therapy, with emphasis on improving communication and conflict resolution, and therapeutic procedures will be demonstrated.  The content will include didactic and demonstration/discussion components, and Q&A will be encouraged.
